The tapered edges of 12.5mm RhinoBoard allow space for the specified joint treatment. Plan the finish before ordering: Gyproc lists compatible RhinoLite plasters for skimming and RhinoGlide for jointing. Include the selected finishing materials in your enquiry, and ask your installer to confirm the preparation and decoration required for the project.
Tell your installer about doors, cupboards, shelving, electrical points and sound-privacy requirements before the wall is closed. Where a fire or acoustic performance is specified, the complete tested construction must meet it; this regular board does not carry a stand-alone wall performance rating.
Calculate boards for both sides of a wall
Enter the area of one wall face. Select the number of boarded faces and layers per face, then add a cutting allowance.
Area-based estimate only. The 10% default is a planning allowance, not a fixed requirement. Sheet orientation, framing, joint positions and reusable offcuts can change the final order. Quantities are not added to your basket automatically.
